Updates SydPixel

Note to self:  Stop changing Sydpixel every other week! 

The more Sydpixel grows,  the longer it takes to update a fresh design.  Even with CSS there is always some hand editing involved in totally changing the look of a website.  Whether it's mine or a customer, the reward following the design concept to completed project is an amazing experience for me.  Through creativity, I find my release in brain storming new ideas and concepts.  Follow through, attention to detail and thinking "outside the box" is always refreshing.

New Look

Sydpixel, always striving for diversity, has undergone a makeover.  Testing the limits of XHTML and Web Standards is always a pleasure.

On the topic of XHTML and Web Standards,  I recently picked up a copy of Jefferey Zeldman's "Designing with web standards". As the former leader of the "Web Standards Project" and  in the forefront of todays web standards / design. As Jefrey states in chapter 1 states "99.9% of all websites are obsolete" due to incompatible code and design,  99.9% ! I found this particularly interesting considering there are billions of web sites out there just decaying as time passes. It's time web designers put on their reading glasses and begin to understand were web design is headed or be quickly left behind. 

These crumbling sites may look fine at the moment but the steady deterioration from bad code is slowly creeping up everywhere you look leading to higher bandwidth usage, poor SEO (search engine optimization, and cross browser errors.  The list goes on....
